Mako, Tiki Shark

In 2023, Reaper Miniatures asked Jason Wiebe to sculpt this mini to benefit the relief fund for the Hawaii wildfires that devastated Maui. The wood grain texture is subtle in the sculpt, so I decided to add some texture with contrasting colors to really play up the wood feel. Traditional tikis aren’t painted, but the figure needed some vibrancy, so I incorporated traditional “tiki culture” colors.
