The High Bishop
This guy has a lot of nooks and crannies and is a great sculpt by Archvillian. I was at Walmart and found an Amethyst Purple Folk Art paint and thought: "Dollar fifty? Let's make it grimdark." Base coated the model in my normal fashion and did thinned layers of the purple for the armor. I wanted it to look worn in spots so it being thinned enabled it to flow around a bit while still giving coverage. I used a dry brush of Pale Sand and then Irridescent Pearl in spots, edge highlighted for damages and scratches, and did some Hoplite Gold and Emperor's Gold in spots. I used Death Metal for the pipes and hoses and then dry brushed it across the gold parts for damage and age.
I did the bishop with Irridescent pearl for his mask, a brush of gold for the eyes and helmet, Crimson for the candles and eyes, and then some Bloodmoon Red thinned for the armor and the tapestry.
The candle flames are Moonbeam Yellow with Space Dust at the tips and background for some OSL. The sword is Plasma Coil Blue, Pastel Seafoam, drybrush White, More Plasma Coil, then more white for highlights. The strips of parchment are Pallid Bone speed paint from a marker of all things.
Used voodoo shade on the gold parts and bishop before unifying in Vallejo Grey Wash. Base is occultist cloak and Gravelord Grey with Grim Rust.
