Leman Russ

My next completed model in my Primarchs series, this time the Space Wolves Primarch Leman Russ, the Wolf King himself - possibly my favourite of the Primarch models so far!

I had a great time with this one - the photos on the Warhammer store really don't do justice to how epic this mini is on the table. I took a new approach to the armour this time, relying heavily on shading for both the recesses and to darken the base colour, and edge highlighting to pick out the individual plates. On the whole, I'm super happy, and possibly some of my best examples of NMM yet!

The axe might be my favourite bit - not only do I love how the NMM came out, but I'm very happy with the OSL from the lights embedded in the blade too.
