Mounted Kreoss

So, objectively this is not my best work. However, this mini will always be special to me. A number of years ago, with a young child and health issues in the family I stopped painting (and playing miniatures). There just wasn't the hours in the day, and being more focused on playing and frustrated that it didn't happen I stepped away from the hobby.
Years later this was what I picked up when I came back. Reasoning that I had the model, primed at the time, and it was one I wanted for my now obsolete War machine collection. I painted this on a canvas drop cloth on the floor. My kid painted on a canvas next to me. It got me back into the hobby and I have never looked back.
Another user on here telling a story about getting back into the hobby made me think of it, so I grabbed it form its place of pride in my display case to take some photos.
