Northern Wind

This was the first large scale piece I painted, about 7 months into my painting journey, and it really ignited my passion for the hobby. While I did not paint it for a competition, I did end up entering it into both MPO Online (no award) and the Squidmar Open, where it won a Bronze.

It was a massive learning experience and emphasized to me how much of a difference loving the thing you are painting makes.
