The Jar Marine

This Space Marine had seen a few things when I acquired him. There were melted parts, backwards weapons, broken pieces, mold lines, you name it. I put him in a jar of Isopropyl alcohol in a sonic cleaner, the result was too good not to capture. The Jar Marine ended up being a pretty straightforward rescue project, but he looks so epic with all of the paint about to sluff off while standing up in the jar. I ended up rebuilding him as he came to me, and giving him the kind of paint job that the original owner seemed to be aiming for. He's funky, but he was great to paint. I ended up putting into Monument Hobbies' "Minis as Art" Celebration at Adepticon 2026.
