I wanted bold neon! This model worked particularly well because the details are mostly etched in, which allowed for much cleaner lines than I could freehand. I'm particularly proud of painting in the impression that the color was spilling out of the broken lantern at the bottom! This was also the first time I needed to drill a peg into the foot and base to keep him upright, he has tiny feet and is pretty topheavy.
