This mini gave my a very special experience while painting. It was very relaxing but at the same time I wanted to push more of the details. Initially after that I was looking for another muscular figure to paint because I haven't really done that before and I liked it a lot.
I tried to get the impression of sun coming from behind in the right side bit it didn't turn out that well.

Yah love your work on the muscles though. Well defined without seeming like muscle islands. I can definitely see what you were going for with the sunlight rendering. I’ll be honest I didn’t catch that intention until I read it in the description.
Maybe it’s the relatively even shading on the basing? Still looks pretty rad.
