The Last Luna Wolf

A very different project for me this time, my first attempt at a diorama. The scene is one of my own imagining, one that I've titled 'The Last Luna Wolf'.

In the ruins of Istvaan III, a lone, loyalist Luna Wolf finds a quiet spot to die. Wounded and bleeding out, he nevertheless seeks a defensible position in which to sit and await his last breaths. His dirty, blood-flecked white armour is still tinged with sea green where he scraped away the erstwhile colours of the Sons of Horus, choosing to die instead as a Luna Wolf - as far as he knows, perhaps the very last.

I had a lot of fun with this project, and got to flex my creative muscles in a lot of new ways! Planning the scenery and the surroundings were more involved than I thought, but the highlight has to be the stained-glass windows - a lot of effort, but I think it was worth it.
