A wonderful eBay rescue of a Games Workshop Angels of Death Kill Team. I wanted to challenge myself a few different ways with these Space Marines and worked on edge highlighting, volumetric highlights, weathering/battle damage, and hazard stripes.
I struggled a bit to find contrast to help really add depth to the yellow. I used a yellow ochre as the shadow and not a large enough jump between the mid-tone and highlight color. A white-yellow was used to create some panel lining effects to help bring back definition, but the lighting still isn't where I'd like it to be.
Overall, at a great stopping point for now. Batch painting 20+ models at once was a real battle.

20 model batches are no joke! I always think I’m gonna be able to quickly lay down some paint but I always get stuck touching up this or that on the individual models haha.
These look lovely though. Strong job with so much yellow.
