The Red Mermaid

Christmas gift painted for my mom. She's known as the red mermaid. This was my first attempt at underpainting and I learned to ease up on the layering to allow those under colors to show through. It was a lot of fun to paint and it meant a lot to be able to visit and give it to my mom.
