The Cursed Penitent by Nerikson

I was originally going to put this guy into Conclave Obscura's Horror of the Flesh contest but it was originally not going to ship until late October. So I got this guy and love the sculpt immediately. Nerikson makes some seriously wonderful display minis and it's fun taking them into Grimdark. I think this guy could work well as a communicant for Trench Crusade given the scale and overall design language. Did similar skin layering with an initial zenithal/blue tone/thinned red base followed by thinned layers of skeleton bone, flesh tone, then thinned arid earth and mummy robes before some grimdark Shadow and blood effects. Wanted to get the wrong ness of the communicant to be present in the model. All in all it's a fantastic sculpt that hopefully I did some justice.
