A project that dragged me out of a hobby motivation low. Initiated by an "Art improvement" call from Roman Lappats patron with the topic: create a still life with a statue.
I did start with low expectations on the end result. No pressure to be perfect and exactly that made even uncomfortable things like painting backdrops or water surfaces , a pure joy.
The mini is "elven mage" from Darksword miniatures. The fountain is scratch build.

tough call on the photo backdrop. I think I prefer the start black, helps my eye focus on your work.
