I painted this Orc Hunter bust a few years ago, but recently made a couple of adjustments to him based on some feedback I got from the mighty Dave Colwell.
I didn't want to paint him with the usual green skin that such orcs tend to come with, since I knew a lot of these would be painted as such with the popularity of the model. I opted instead to try and make him a bit more sinister, a bit more Tolkienesque with the cold atmosphere, the purplish skin and the drab colours.
I was very pleased to have been awarded a Silver in Standard with im at MPO Online 2023. I'd quite like to eventually take him along to an in-person event or show if I get the chance some time, as hardly anyone has had the chance to see him in the flesh.
