Mysterious Stanger

I found this Reaper miniature (they came as a set) and though it was perfect for this exhibition. However, over the month I just couldn't connect with it. I ended up spending a lot of my painting time on other projects and relying heavily on speed paint to get this one started.

Leaning aware from the obvious image of Aragorn int he Prancing Pony, I decided to paint this in brighter colors with the light from behind like a bright window. I don't think it came out to well, but it was a good experience trying.

I still love these challenges and look forward to May.
