Painted this as practice for an upcoming challenge themed around "deliverate brushstrokes". My personal style is, or will be I think, quite painterly and I want to spend more time exploring that. Especially proud of the sword which I think looks decent with a total of 6 brushstrokes.

I wish my brushstrokes were quite so “deliverate” ;)
This method does seem to give the piece a painterly aesthetic though. Looks cool.
