Savva Koshnienko "Golem"

Another miniature from the board game Zona: The Secret of Chernobyl (Rebel), painted the same way as the previous piece in the series — speedpaint with a limited Ionic Smart Color palette and gunmetal/silver metallics, again put together during a visit to board game club.

The sculpts on this game confirmed again that they're not up to the quality I'm used to — the detail is pretty simplified, and here too I had to clean up some rough mould lines.

The skin tone dominates on Golem, and I had to mix it myself — the shade in the basic set came out too pink and didn't suit this character. The other big surface is the exoskeleton — he gets his nickname from the mechanized rig he "borrowed" straight from the Zone, according to the character's story. I painted it in gunmetal, washed it, then pulled the edges out with silver metallic.
