Sea Giant
This was one of the first experiments I did with highlighting green with yellow to create more contrast, and I’m pretty happy wth the way the skin pops. I also painted rust for the first time on the anchor, also experimenting with a silver metallic base coat and various thinned acrylics to create a patina.

The highlights really help boost the saturation. My entire gaze gets immediately drawn to the head. Cool experiments with the rust. I’ve been trying to work with TMM stuff lately and it’s inspirational to see kind of how you tackled it.
