The Boatman

Loved this sculpt and had to paint it. Layered acrylic over speed paints and my normal base coat to establish depth and weathering and utilized plenty of dry brushing on the robes and veil to lightly edge highlight. The skin is zenithal with Voodoo Shade followed by thinned Necrotic Flesh. Used Vallejo grey wash on the veil but washed off of the face area and upper extended arm for visibility and to smooth the blends a bit. The boat is thinned mummified grime over zenithal, highlights for wear and damage and then voodoo shade. The chains are grim rust and some dry brush of Irridescent pearl, and then the whole thing was unified with Grimdark Shadow.
