Sons of horus test model

I've loved the look of the Sons of Horus since betrayal came out, and have always wanted to paint renditions of them and the other legions of Isstvan III. Well I've started doing so now all these years later, my intention being to paint up a 5 man "representative slice" for each from a box of Mk III and a whole lot of bits. That slice thing will make more sense for my next post, which hopefully won't be too long now. I figured I'd start with a test model for the sons, and I really tried to evoke some of the betrayal color plates. The phrase I latched onto was "murky verdigris"
