To Be or Not to Be Undead

Hello! I’d like to share my recently finished bust created for my Storytelling & Painting Workshop.
In this first version, I imagined a dark tomb or a forbidden kingdom where a powerful lich argues with his alter ego — a scene reminiscent of Shakespeare’s famous “to be or not to be.”
But this debate is far darker, as the second head he holds has already been severed. What are they talking about, and why? That’s the question for you. :)
To make the piece more interesting and experiment with something new, I added a magical ice dagger with a subtle freezing effect in his other hand. I really enjoyed the painting process, especially capturing the dark atmosphere, and I’m looking forward to exploring different versions. :)
