Dark Commune -- Warhammer 40K (Games Workshop)

The second of my Dark Commune miniatures. I painted this one last year (2025). The goal of these miniatures was to move away from the typical cultist in black robes. Midsommer (2019) and the traditional vestries of Orthodox Christianity. I think they capture the vibe

I am very happy with the texture I achieved on the Demagogue's robes, and also the fur bustle

The paints were mainly Pro Acryl (Bright Ivory, Dark Ivory, Ivory, Rich Gold, Bright Gold, White Gold, and also Magnesium and Silver). The Pro Acryl metallics mix and thin well, allowing for some good blending. I also used an oil wash of burnt umber to help shade the figure
