Las Vegas Open Weekend PART 01

Hi all and happy Thursday! So its the week after Las Vegas Open and I wanted to make a full post about it all. This is Part 1 of a 2 part post. See 2nd post for rest of pics and story!

First up, the Verkos Vault painting comp! I wound up taking medals for all 9 of my entries. I got 3 Iron medals for my Hornet diorama, Relg the Descender and Moonie bust. Took 4 Bronze medals for my Sisters bust, Space Pickle, Dark Angel Captain and Blood Angel Chaplain. And finally, I took 2 Silver medals for my Ultramarines and Dark Angels squads. I was a bit frustrated with myself as I hoped Id do better medal wise this time around. But, its a good indicator that I need to push myself harder to expand my skill set and level up over the next year. Keep in mind I am BEYOND thankful to have taken what I did, its a complete honor! My frustration is simply in self reflection as I am extremely hard on myself regarding my skill sets in life and its how I get better at what I do.
