Finally took some decent photos of the Miao Ying model I got for my birthday.
As soon as this model was revealed I knew I had to get it. It's such a cool pose and style.
Building it was tricky and took me a few days because of all the different parts. I ended up leaving the hair separate when I sprayed it so it could have a lighter base.
For painting I followed Duncan Rhodes's guide. Really happy with how all the scales turned out. There's still some bits I could tidy up but it'd probably be diminishing returns at this point. Easily one of my favourite models I've painted
