This is my challenge piece for Monument Hobbies monthly challenge. It was a limited palette of Jade, Bold Pyrole Red, Faded Plum, White, and Black. Was really excited for this challenge but once playing with the colors it started to feel a very lopsided, no truly cold colors or saturated warm colors, the values of the 3 colors are pretty similar too. Made it it work though. One nice thing was we were allowed to use any mediums, so metallic medium was available to mix out own metals. Do plan to go back with a full palette to redo parts cause I move this bust and want it to a level I'm truly happy with.

Such an interesting bust. Well done with the limited pallete made an excellent job of the paint up 🤩
Reminds me of the Easter Island heads. It's fascinating how expressive you've made the face with a limited palette. Love the little character scratches all over the cloth bit. The necklace balls light rendering is also quite lovely.
