Hi all and happy Thursday! Now that Ive got the tactical Dark Angels out of the way, I can start posting the character models from the full display (will be showing that in a few weeks)
Lets start things off with Ezekiel. He was a fun jaunt, though a bit cramped. Never got to paint this guy in my youth, so was an interesting experience. Im not 100% keen on how his cloak turned out. Ill admit, Im still learning how to properly paint cloth as its something Ive always shied away from. But as the old saying goes, "practice makes perfect". Old GW cloth was interesting as it tended to be rather thick where it falls off the model. They seem to have gotten better about that in recent times with their plastics... But metals, it was definitely an odd thing lol! Also, Im not big on painting my Librarians and Chaplains in blue or black. I normally paint the armor in chapter colors and do the shoulder pad insets in said colors, but on Ezekiel (and Asmodai), I got to apply the coloring to the cloak which I think turned out as a fun idea!
Anywho, Ive got a ton of things to handle today for my automotive brand I run to get ready for launching restock of my plastic parts tomorrow, so Im off to deal with that! As always, I hope you all have an awesome and productive weekend!
