Dragonkin Rogue

This Dragonkin Rogue is from Dark Sword Miniatures and I painted him in a Paint-a-long through Painting Big Patreon. It was my first time doing a full paint-a-long and it was so much fun! I learned so much.

This also pushed me to try new things. I did freehand on the cloak and loincloth. I did both steel and gold NMM. I base coated using the midtone instead of the darkest shadow. I also used miliput to do more of a custom base.

I think he turned out great and I hope I can replicate the techniques I learned on future miniatures!

Hey, getting a little basing action on this one, nice! The cape pattern on this guy reminds me that I really want to freehand a design on a mini I have holding up a drooping sail, but I have no clue how to approach something like that... do you have a go-to approach, or do you just go for it?

Very nice blue, what colors did you use.
