Kaze no Oni, L5R Clan War Miniatures

Completed in 2024

One of the four Elemental Terrors for the Shadowlands faction from the L5R Clan War miniatures game, Kaze no Oni is the corruption of Air.

This ended up being a faster paint job than I expected. Went with a dark blue to purple colour scheme for the body and wings, symbolic of more ‘oh, that’s quite the storm coming in’ weather that seemed to personally have a grudge against me.

The clouds along the base, was from a Noh or Kabuki stage setup I once saw. Feel like I could have done better, always room for improvement but I did like how it turned out.

Miniature primed with Stynylrez Priner. All paints used are from Acrylicos Vallejo’s wonderful Game Colour product line.
