2nd Edition Dark Angels Deathwing Terminator Captain

Hi all! This is my next to last "Throwback Thursday" for a while. I am finally into the editing portion of my upcoming Dark Angels tutorial. I should have it done and ready for release the fist week of Sept! But for now, here is the final member of my old Deathwing squad I painted up in the late 2000s. The good ol Captain! :D

As previously mentioned, back in the late aughts when I was painting this old bad lad up, I didnt have the confidence to hand paint any of his badging. Thankfully as time has gone on in recent years, Ive really pushed myself to up my game and hand paint smaller details like badging when required. Thankfully, Workshop has redone all of their transfers now to fit properly! But yeah, this old Captain is bare of markings... but oh well, just a small bit of my personal paiting history and somethinng to show for how much Ive grown painting wise. Also, please excuse any yellowing on whites and greys. This was due to Citadels old matte clear coat yellowing over the years.

Fun little factoid, though kind of sad. I wound up designing a really neat custom banner for him that I did in Adobe Illustrator. I printed it out, but never used it. Funny thing is, Ive still got it sitting in my storage box with these guys. Im glad Ive grown beyond a lot of my old bad habits as a painter in modern times so I dont make lazy mistakes like this anymore (as in, I see things thru to the properly now so as to properly complete all the projects I take on).
