Bowman Peter

Peter was one of the first minis I painted after a really long hiatus from miniature painting. I tried underpainting for the face and generally for the first time in my miniature "painting career" tried building up volume and directing the light on the miniature. I am well aware that there are lots of things to improve (one of which is applying a varnish ... )

The miniature was sculpted by Heresy Labs.

Story behind the miniature:
Peter is a member of a Bretonnian warband called "The Order of the healing Blood". He joined the warband prior to leaving Bretonnia, while he was hunting Beastmen with his liege's son, Ser Thibault. He donned a maroon hood as sign of his allegiance to the warband.
Their travels took the warband to the cursed city of Mordheim, where Peter stalks around ruins and alleys to shoot down vile creatures and evil men - hoping not to be spotted himself.
