Tifa
The first half of this diorama, I painted this sculpt of Tifa by Nympha3d just because I love FFVII. I tried to remain mostly true to the official art as much as possible. All skin is airbrushed and everything elase is regular brush with a few airbrush passes just to bring everything together. The skin is a combination of several pro acryl colours, including pretty much their entire range of skintones in varying ratios depending on my mood (I don't really follow recipes but blend my paints depending on the look I am trying to achieve) as well as white blue and pale yellow in a 50/50 mix added into warm flesh for the final highlight. I based in a deep crimson red and shaded with a combination of muted green and muted grey liquitex inks before building up the skintones based on the imagined light source. About halfway through building it up I applied my custom skin shade, which is a 3:1:1 mix of liquitex muted pink, transparent burnt sienna, and sepia. The white clothing is done using alternating shades of dark turquoise and dark magenta glazed with several layers of bright ivory and a final airbrush glaze of bold titanium white. All told about 60 hours of work. All acrylics are pro acryl and all inks are liquitex. Painted with my trusty infinity cr plus airbrush and some generic sable brushes from amazon.
