BattleTech Northwind Highlanders Snow Camo

This is the first of three lances that a customer commissioned painted up. They wanted the first lances to be painted in a snow camouflage done in a similar way that I have done before. The Northwind Highlanders have two sets of tartan patterns on their right side. The customer picked the pattern for the leg. Since we got hit here in the south with so much snow I decided to add some mud to the snowy terrain on the base, and have it splatter up the legs and underside of the arms to give the mechs that heavy feel. The customer was extremely happy with the results. This project was most done using makeup sponges (both large and small).
