Moonie and her Pillow Bust

Hi all, time for my last post of the year and the final Christmas present I painted up. I picked this bust up at Las Vegas Open this past October. Initially I was going to paint it for myself, however I decided that it would be far more appreciated by my love Pepper! I had a lot of fun painting this lil gal and her kitteh which was designed and sculpted by KAHA Collectibles. I painted the kitteh up as my Gizmo Waffle who passed away on Dec 18th while I was painting this gift. Broke my heart losing him, but at least hes now part of something special that is appreciated by the love of my life (who Giz was very fond of btw) which resides on her dresser in her bedroom.

I painted the bust to resemble my Pepper gal. The skin tone was very difficult to get close. I had 5 different pics of my gal pulled up while painting, and her skin tone was 5 different shades depending on the lighting lol. I did the best I could, though Im missing some undertones of red in her real life skin tone. But regardless, my gal loved this a lot and Im glad I could paint it up for her as such a special gift, esepcially in memory of Gizmo.

Anywho, its New Years Eve and Im trying to wrap up some graphics work for a band I do random stuff for along with updating my banners on YT and BaseLair. I hope everyone has a safe and fun evening and Ill talk to you all soon!
