Painting a NGE EVA 01 themed Tau Crisis Battlesuit.
I originally built this model when I was about 13-14. I recently found it and a load of other Tau in my parents loft and they've been sitting around waiting for me to clean and fix them.
My friend recently got his indefinite right to remain so to celebrate I decided to paint one as his favourite EVA to give him as a present.
I started with a wraithbone spray then used luxio purple to get the basic purple, from there I used a variety of layers to build up each colour, trying to keep the end result as bright as possible to make it seem more anime.
