My first Golden Demon submission!

Because I was a little intimidated by the 40k and AoS categories, I thought Blood Bowl would be a gentler way to ease myself into the competition - and in Rodney Roachbait, I saw the potential for a cartoonish scene straight from the Looney Tunes playbook.

I've never done a diorama before so this was a learning experience from start to finish - modifying the poses of both Rodney and his ogre opposition, shaping the terrain with clay, figuring out how to build the turf, and then of course painting in a relatively short timeframe thanks to various work/life/health-related delays.

I know there's a lot of things I could have improved on technically, but I'm very proud of how this turned out and the reaction it got at Adepticon and excited to push for a pin next year.
