Cthulhu Idol

I was in my local neighborhood comic book store one fine afternoon and saw this bank. I loved the shape and scale, but didn't care much for the color. It was clearly supposed to be the idol referenced in The Call Of Cthulhu, which would have been carved from a single type stone, not all these colors. I decided I could make it better so I bought the thing. First step was to fill it with expanding foam to give it a little weight and make it easier to work with. The it was cleaned and primed with a Vallejo green primer. A little bit of dry brushing the high points and washing the low points and it was done. Now the The Sleeper of R'lyeh watches over me while I work.
