The Sanctified in Filth Entry

This was an entry into the Sanctified in Filth competition put on by Grimdark Prints

You get sent a random model and some parts that will work with it and have to create a base that will thematically flow with the work as a whole. Started with a spare coaster I had, some rubber mulch, some random sticks and wood from the back yard, and some driveway gravel. Glued those down to the base before painting all of it with some Malignant Green Speed paint. Let that dry while I assembled the arms and torso for the model. After that I base coated the model pieces with my normal Slapchop approach, and did the same across the base in spots, taking care to leave the real wood detail in place.

I used some Chipping Medium by Vallejo, Grim Rust, numerous Blanche and Warpaints Fanatic paints, Goon's Grime/Vallejo Still Water/True Blood for the blood effects, and obviously a ton of snow flock. This was a fun competition and I would gladly enter another like this.
