This is my entry for DM Stash's 5th anniversary painting contest. You had to paint one of their models and it had to be 32mm on the original base.

I almost decided not to participate because I am not really a fan of painting smaller minis. The details are so small, harder to see for us older folks, and more difficult (for me) to paint. This model is actually the 4th that I attempted to paint. I finished a different model and was just very unhappy with how it turned out. I started 2 other models and didn't even finish them as I couldn't get my vision to come out on the model. This was the last model I was going to try and I actually ended up having fun painting her and was happy with the end result. My husband gave me some great advice to get my mind wrapped around painting the smaller mini.

The competition is steep for this contest and I don't expect to win or anything. But I am happy that I didn't give up and pushed myself out of my comfort zone to complete the challenge.
