MKIIc Rhino of the XIIth Legion
byOHHansOn
Stolen for Slaughter: World Eaters Rhino I
Now on to the first of two Rhinos in my World Eaters force.
Speed and relentless forward momentum are key to the XIIth Legion — and Rhinos are essential to deliver that violence straight into the enemy lines.
Models & Concept
This Rhino is based on a MKIIc pattern, recently torn from the hands of the enemy and brutally repurposed for the World Eaters’ needs.
Defiled with Forge World upgrade parts, the vehicle no longer bears any trace of loyalty or restraint. Instead, it stands as a mobile weapon platform — scarred, corrupted, and ready to hurl Berserkers into the heart of the slaughter.
The idea was to make it feel looted rather than forged: a captured machine, forcibly bent to the will of the XIIth Legion.
**Painting Approach✱
The Rhino was painted in the same grimdark World Eaters scheme, with particular focus on:
• Heavy chipping and worn armor plates
• Scratches and battle scars from recent combat
• Corrupted white and red tones layered over older markings
• Grime and dirt built up around tracks and lower hull
This helps sell the story of a vehicle stolen in war and immediately thrown back into battle.

Why This Project?
World Eaters don’t wait — they surge forward.
This Rhino exists to make that happen, carrying the legion’s fury straight into the enemy lines aboard a vehicle that was never meant to serve them… until now.
