Just returned from Golden Demon and wanted to post an update!

So, Im sitting at my desk here at home trying to unwind and decompress from the events that happened over the weekend! Its gonna take me a bit to get back to normal again, but I wanted to make a small post summing up my experience at Golden Demon while everything is still rattling around in my brain completely raw and unorganized.

Its been a dream of mine to attend Golden Demon since I was a kid in the 90s. For the last year, Ive been talking about going this year. And thanks to some decent sales with my automotive brand I run, along with the help of my wonderful Pepper Belmont that dream became a reality! She did so much to help make this a reality while I spent a solid 3 months prepping for the event! Thank you so much my love! You are amazing!

All of February I spent painting up my squad of Ultramarines that I wanted to bring to compete with. The final Ultramarine was used for filming my new Grim Bright Ultramarines Painting Tutorial that released last week. I had a few other odds and ends to take care of mini wise before Golden Demon, and I made it all happen!

So, last Thursday, we got on a plane to Milwaukee and off we went! I spent the entire weekend meeting and hanging out with SO many amazing people! I will be making a video scrapbook in the coming weeks as a fun remembrance of the event!

But to wrap this post up as Im getting tired, I did what I never thought would happen. I brought home 4 "Notable Entry" pins! I still cannot believe that I pulled that off! I honestly thought Id come home with nothing. But I came home with something to show that ALL of the hard work and sacrifices Ive made in the last few years has pushed my painting to a level I NEVER dreamed it would reach thru my whole life!

So with all that said, Im off to bed! Thank you to my Pepper gal, I am beyond thankful God put you in my life and I couldnt have done this without you by my side... And thanks to everyone who hung out and that I met this past weekend. It was the experience of a lifetime!
