This is Aya the Survivor from Kingdom Death. The storytelling in this piece just spoke to me and I put off painting it for a while because I really wanted to do it justice. But then I came across this quote somewhere: "Ready isn't a feeling, it's a decision." So I got the kit out and got to work. I'm just going to move forward on the presumption that stumbling across that line was just a coincidence and not evidence that the ghost in the goddamn machine is actually talking to me.

Amazing job! She turned out beautifully. I think her face is amazing! Great detail, down to the eyes. Her hair is lovely. I think you really brought the story of the figure to life with your paint job.
I too put off pieces that I am worried I am not good enough to paint and that I don't want to "ruin" it. I like the quote you found!
