Beyond the Wall

This is Aya the Survivor from Kingdom Death. The storytelling in this piece just spoke to me and I put off painting it for a while because I really wanted to do it justice. But then I came across this quote somewhere: "Ready isn't a feeling, it's a decision." So I got the kit out and got to work. I'm just going to move forward on the presumption that stumbling across that line was just a coincidence and not evidence that the ghost in the goddamn machine is actually talking to me.
