Angela MCP

Ever since I picked up miniature painting, I’ve wanted to bring Marvel characters to life on the tabletop. Angela has been one of my favorite characters since my early comic book days, so she felt like the perfect choice for this project.

I’ve always loved the way her gold armor pairs with rich reds and warm oranges. Those colors create a striking contrast that really makes the model stand out. When I saw this open competition celebrating metallics, I immediately thought Angela’s ornate armor and weapons would be a perfect fit.

To add a little extra storytelling, I included a small severed head that’s meant to represent Mr. Sinister—a subtle nod for fellow Marvel fans. I hope it reads the way I intended.

I’ve only been painting miniatures for a couple of years, so I know I’m still growing as a painter. Whether or not it’s at the level of the competition, this piece represents the very best I can do when I slow down, focus, and put everything I’ve learned into a single model. More than anything, I’m proud to share it.
