Full Metal

Full Metal is a celebration of real metallic paints and the shine they bring to miniature painting. While non-metallic metal (NMM) has become a popular display technique, there’s something uniquely satisfying about the sparkle, depth, and character of true metallic metals (TMM). For this month’s challenge, paint a model that showcases metallic paints as a defining feature. Any scale, any system, any style. Whether it’s a knight clad head-to-toe in polished armor, a battle-worn mech, a gleaming sci-fi weapon, or an ornate fantasy relic, the only requirement is that the metallics are real—leave the NMM techniques on the shelf and let the metal shine.

Entry Guidelines

• One entry per person

• Must fit the theme

• Must be your own work and painted during this challenge window

• Fully finished models only, no WIPs

• Any genre or scale

• Conversions, kitbashes, and 3D printed models are allowed

• At least one clear, well-lit photo on a neutral background
