2nd Edition Grim Bright Dark Angels Squad on Temp Base

Hi all and as always, happy Thursday! Its back to normal posting this week, so heres my 5 man Dark Angels tactical squad looking all snazzy on their temporary base like they just showed up in a 1994 issue of White Dwarf! I was busy working on the character models for the full display when I took these pics.

When I was younger, I wasnt disciplined enough in my painting to really work up complete squads. Id usually get three to four minis in, lose interest and move onto something else. Also, it was rare for me to maintain consistency between what got finished. Thankfully in modern times, Ive learned how to get away from that mentality and actually see things thru to the end properly. Even though Im not a huge fan of Dark Angels (Space Wolves and Blood Angels are my jam), I managed to stick it out over a month and a half to knock out this 5 man squad along with the 3 Dark Angels character minis for the full display (which Ill show off in a few weeks).

Anywho, dont have a ton to mention this week. Just wanted to get these ol green bad lads posted! Much like last week, Ive gotta go do some actual work (boooooo)! But, as always, I hope you all have an awesome and productive weekend!

PS: If youd like to see any more of my minis, check out my podcasts with other painters or learn via my painting tutorials, you can find me on IG, YT and Patreon via OldGrumpyWolf (all one word) as theres lots of fun Grim Bright stuff on all 3!
