Another miniature from the board game Zona: The Secret of Chernobyl (Rebel), painted the same way as the previous pieces in the series — speedpaint with a limited Ionic Smart Color palette and gunmetal/silver metallics, again put together during a visit to my board game club. He’s the second-to-last character from the game that I painted.
Of the whole series, this one struck me as probably the least interesting, and I didn’t have many ideas for how to bring it more to life. The only thing I tried was OSL from the flame he’s holding in his hand. In Rebel’s official story, Priest is described as a lone figure surrounded by the Zone’s mutated wolves, which don’t attack him.
Hopefully you’ll be able to make something out in the photos — their quality isn’t what I’d like it to be.
