Charudain, the Forlorn Emperor

This guy came to me in a four pack resin box and I immediately thought: good God what did I get myself into?! I didn't realize he was this big...in 32mm. I used the rest of my bottle of Grim Black followed by The Darkness and finally Pale Sand for my base coat. The armor is Polished Silver speed paint. The mail armor is a 50/50 mix of Polished Silver and Hoplite Gold making almost a brass look. The gold accents are dry brushed with Emperor's Gold. Charudain's veil and cloth parts was Skeleton Bone followed by Ivory White.

The veil was finished by a mix of Goon's Grime and Vallejo Grey Wash. The cloth pieces was done as a 50/50 mix of Turnbull Torquise and Bloodmoon Red. It ended up being a super deep plum and was nasty. I did Banshee Brown high lights before washing with Goon's Grime. The Spirit is heavy dry brushed Matte White before Plasma Coil Glow and then Pale Seafoam Speed paint. The glow is all pale seafoam neat over the metal. Sword is chipping medium over Grim Rust and Plate Metal. Whole model is washed with Vallejo Grey Wash and Some Goon's Grime separately.

The base is the same base coat followed by Gravelord Grey on the stone, a pass of mummified grime on the thorns, skeleton bone across the stone, and Voodoo Shade on the rock, Sepia Tone on the Thorns, and Forest Sprite on the steps for moss.
This was a six hour adventure.
