Khorne’s Whirling Death

**An Icon of Endless Carnage: Blood Slaughterer of Khorne✱

This is my Forge World Blood Slaughterer of Khorne — a model I’ve always loved and one that simply belongs in a proper World Eaters army.

From its brutal silhouette to its whirring blades and chained rage, the Blood Slaughterer perfectly embodies the violent, relentless nature of the XIIth Legion.

**Models & Concept✱

The Blood Slaughterer is an unmistakable Forge World classic: raw, aggressive, and unapologetically excessive.
It feels less like a machine and more like a barely contained weapon of war — exactly the kind of daemon engine the World Eaters would unleash without hesitation.

Thankfully, One Page Rules offers a unit profile that fits this model extremely well, allowing it to take the battlefield again in a way that feels both thematic and mechanically satisfying.

Painting Approach

The model was painted in my established grimdark World Eaters style, focusing on:
• Dark, oily metals and worn brass
• Heavy weathering and battle damage
• Deep shadows to emphasize its brutal mass
• Subtle blood effects around blades and lower limbs

Rather than making it look clean or ceremonial, I wanted the Blood Slaughterer to feel used, scarred, and permanently soaked in violence.

Details & Features
• Classic Forge World Blood Slaughterer of Khorne
• Brutal, iconic daemon-engine design
• Grimdark textures and heavy weathering
• Strong visual and thematic fit for World Eaters
• Fully playable thanks to a fitting One Page Rules profile

Why This Project?

Some models never lose their appeal — and the Blood Slaughterer is one of them.
For me, it represents everything a World Eaters daemon engine should be: fast, vicious, and utterly uncontrollable.

Thanks to One Page Rules, it finally has a place where it feels truly at home on the tabletop again.
