Squire Alfred

This was one of the minis where I tired to improve my NMM. I tried for a grinded metal look and two different color recipes for the helmet and the bardiche. In retrospect I shoud have put a bit more effort into the yellow of the gambeson and probably gone fore some blacklining. But never the less, this was the first time I really got the metal look to work - which made me quite happy.

The miniature is by Heresy Lab - absolutely stunning model in my opinion.

Story behind the Miniature:
Being Ser Thibault's squire has many benefits, being spared was not one of them. When Alfred became Ser Thibault's squire he had to learn and adapt fast, or Mordheim would swallow him whole.
In time he gained a reputation for his unwavering faith and his "first in - last out" mentality. He was struck down more often than he can remember - probably from all the hits on his head - yet he always survived.
