Bowman Rob

Bob was the second mini I painted for my Mordheim warband. I tried to focus a lot more on contrast between lights and shadows and also tried using cooler colours for the shadows. I also tried to give the quiver a bit of texture. I had quite a hard time with the cloth parts, especially with glazing the shadows. But after all in all I am happy with the result and the progress.

The miniature was sculpted by Heresy Labs.

Story behind the miniature:
Rob is a member of a Bretonnian warband called "The Order of the healing Blood". Being a low-born peasant he did not have much choice but going with his liege on his quest to the city of Mordheim. Rob is known for his steady aim, but only after he had a couple of drinks.
