Forest Stalker
A dwarf hunts a monster through the forest.
Painted this for the monster hunter challenge but also to really push myself on lighting and effects. I don't know how well it tricks the eye but I ran out of time to tinker 😬

I love how it turned out! The sketchiness imo makes it very atmospheric and almost feels alive/in motion.I am unsure of the color of the left iris. On one hand it adds strong hue contrast to the piece and grabs attention, but on the other the value is low while being in a lit area. The right eye (in shadow) feels relatively brighter and also has a different hue compared to the left.
